Rihanna | American Music Awards

Rihanna’s creative team and Surround commissioned me to remix some of her best known tracks into a personalized intro for her recent American Music 'Icon' Award. Broadcast live on ABC, this film preceeded Rihanna taking to the stage to accept the award, so nailing the right dynamic and energy of the piece was all important.

My production skills were out in force: with access to stems from her biggest tracks, exclusive interviews from Jay Z and some unmistakable Wevie magic, I remixed it all into a tightly synched sound design for this stylized in camera animation from Surround.
